In May 2015 Robert Mackenzie took Macka’s Australian Black Angus Beef to Texas, USA, spending a packed 2 week schedule meeting fellow beef producers, distributors and retailers.

The reception to the Macka’s Australian Black Angus Beef brand was very positive and Macka’s looks forward to fostering some exciting new relationships to bring our quality Australian Black Angus beef to the United States.

The U.S. landed 47,000 tonnes of Australian beef in April 2015 alone and it is expected this will increase each month. A large amount of the imported beef is ground beef for the burger market however there is definitely rapidly growing interest and demand for top quality, grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free beef.

Macka’s Australian Black Angus beef provides the perfect quality beef for the quality end of the market and is set to become an emerging brand in the North American market for high quality, Australian Black Angus beef.
